Entering my senior thesis show, visitors encounter SmokeGrinder and must decide whether to skirt or push the turnstile. The namesake mechanism, adapted from a carpenter's test and child's toy, is concealed in an adjacent room. One depends on a cooperative partner to see both sides in motion.
